...of these large cats; their loving personality; the deep devotion

they have towards others whom they share their life with; are

a few of the many traits which attracted us to this magnificent breed.

We attended a local CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) Cat Show, where we had the pleasure in meeting Cheryl of "Vanir Cattery" along with her wonderful, award winning Norwegian Forest Cats. Thank you Cheryl for your continued guidance, knowledge, and for entrusting your Vanir

cats with us.

Our Goals at "NorKatz" . . .

...is to raise strong, heavy-boned Norwegian Forest Cats conformable to

the breed standards and to nurture their sweet temperament. Our cats are registered with the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA). Vaccines are kept

current and cats are negative for FeLV/FIV. Breeding cats are blood-typed

and tested for GSD-IV (at the University of Pennsylvania); testing for PKD

and HCM (at Iowa State University-HCM scanning done by Dr. Wendy Ware). Our cats/kittens are raised in our home among our family members. They are well socialized with frequent handling. Before leaving NorKatz all pet kittens

have been vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped, along with complete veterinary documentation of kitten vaccines.

Striving Towards Excellence . . .

..."NorKatz" is a CFA Certified Cattery of Excellence, and is a locally licensed/inspected cattery. I am the North Central Regional Director for the Norwegian Forest Cat Rescue; a Breeder Division Member, Norwegian Forest Cat Fancier's Association; an active member of CFA showing my cats in many of the areas CFA shows. I am an active member of the Sandhills Cat Club, holding the positions of Treasurer and Show Secretary. I am also a member of DELTA Pet Partners; and a Board Member of the Lincoln Pet Partners, as well as a member of three visitation teams.
